Job Overview
As a Delivery Driver, your main responsibility will be delivering automotive parts and products to customers within the local Wellington area. When deliveries are not required, you will assist in the branch by processing sales and preparing customer orders for dispatch. This role requires safe driving, good communication skills, and a positive attitude toward customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver automotive parts and products to customers in the local area
- Ensure timely, accurate, and safe deliveries
- Assist in the branch when not on delivery runs
- Process sales and prepare orders for dispatch
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Handle lifting, bending, and manual handling tasks safely
- Follow company safety procedures and driving standards
Requirements
- Clean and full New Zealand driver’s licence
- Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks safely
- Strong commitment to safe driving practices
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to support branch operations when required
Skills
- Previous experience in delivery or customer service (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts (an advantage)
- Excellent communication skills
